Milton Medeiros Obituary

Milton Tony Medeiros Truck Driver Milton Tony Medeiros, 83, of Visalia passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014. Milton was born on April 21, 1930 to Mary and Antonio Rosa Medeiros. Milton was born and raised in Visalia California. He attended Visalia schools, graduated from Visalia High School in 1948 and attended C.O.S. Milton's hobbies were drag racing, bowling, and baseball. He coached little baseball for 30 years. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren's sporting events. Milton met Magdalene Fagundes at a Portuguese Celebration and later married her on September 23, 1953. They had six children Milton Medeiros Jr. and wife Andrea, Mike Medeiros and wife Jackie, Mark Medeiros and wife Lezlee, Martin Medeiros and wife Diane, Mari Gordon and husband Mike and Mitch Medeiros and wife Charlotte. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren: Cameron, Connor, Kimberly, Jason, Melissa, Joshua, Kayla, Bryan, Matthew, Kellsi, Morgan, Sarah and Christopher. Milton was a wonderful husband, devoted father and grandfather. He was a devote Catholic. He was witty and had a great sense of humor. Milton was a kind and loving man who will be sorely missed by family and friends. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 6 p.m. at Salser and Dillard. A mass in honor of his life will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Visalia. Burial will be at Visalia District Cemetery. A memorial tribute may be offered by logging onto www.salseranddillard.com

To all of the Medeiros Family, please accept our most heartfelt condolences. Mr. Medeiros (Milt) was one of the nicest people we have ever known. He was a wonderful Little League Coach, and a very nice man. He was always so pleasant to talk to, and always had a smile. We are truly sorry for your loss.
