Robert Castro Obituary

Robert "Veto" Reyes Castro

Jan. 31, 1955 - Oct. 01, 2016

Goshen

Robert was born on January 31, 1955 in Tempe, AZ to Juan H and Frances Castro.

In 1959, his family moved to Goshen, CA, where he attended Goshen Elementary School and graduated from Mt. Whitney High School. Robert worked in various jobs: dairies, oil drilling and farm laboring.

Veto had a big heart of gold and would help anyone with a place to spend the night. He will feed the homeless and clothe them when possible. Veto had many friends and no enemies. He was loved by everyone who knew him. Veto loved nature and was always a free spirited man who loved to dance to all types of music; even at 61 years old, he would do his famous splits and say "I'm still a young stud."

Robert is survived by his only daughter Felicia Castro, 7 grandchildren: Drayvein Castro, Clarissa Castro, Anthony Almanza, Marissa Almanza, Ziler Almanza, Beautiful Ternoia, Rosie Cisneros and recently his only great grand-daughter, Draylyne Reyes Castro, his mother Frances Castro, brother Juan Castro, Jr. , 7 sisters Margaret Corner, Mary Lou Castro, Teresa Castro, Gloria Ruiz, Juanita Castro, Stella Pulido, and Patricia Castro.

In Heaven Robert joined his father Juan H. Castro and brother Raymond R. Castro "Sparrow".

Veto will be deeply missed by his family and all his friends in Goshen. So Veto, until we meet again at the end of the rainbow. We All Love You. R.I.P.

Visitation will be held on Sunday October 16, 2016 at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia on from 4-8pm with Rosary at 6pm.
