Rose McGhee Obituary

Rose Marie McGhee was born on July 28, 1928 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Russell & Pearl Cohea. She passed away in Visalia on April 24, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Rose came to California at a young age with her family settling in this area where she grew up. She married her husband Gerald in 1948 in Woodlake. He preceded her in death in 1999. Rose loved gardening and caring for her roses. She also enjoyed singing and dancing. Survivors include her son, Gregory McGhee and wife, Rona, Visalia; sisters, Ida Lois Facianni, Visalia and Joan Davis, Lind, WA; grand-children, Sherene & Bret McGhee, and great-grand-children, Amanda and Mary Rodriguez. Services will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 29th, 9:30 a.m. with graveside following. Visitation is on Thursday, April 28th, 2-7 p.m. at Miller Memorial. Condolences may be offered at www.millerchapel.com under the direction of Miller Memorial, Visalia.
