Shirley Mae Rosprim

Shirley Mae (Smith) Rosprim, 86 Shirley Mae (Smith) Rosprim, 86, passed away on June 27th, 2012 after a short illness in Tulare Regional Medical Center. She was born on February 17, 1926 in Fresno, California. Shirley was an avid bowler and bridge player. She was a member of the Corcoran Thursday Club, Tulare Methodist Women's Fellowship, where she served as Treasurer, Hanford Women's Bowling Association, and the Tulare United Methodist Church. She was a past Kings County Homecoming Queen. She loved all her family and friends and supported them in all their activities. She embraced the community of Corcoran. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.C. (Bus) who died in 1997. They were married for 47 years. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Santos and husband John of Tulare, step-son David Rosprim and his wife Susanna of Grass Valley, and step-daughter Susan Waterman and her husband, Burl of Tucson, Arizona. Her grandchildren, Shellene Dias and husband Steve, Johnny Santos and wife Priscilla, Jarrett Santos and wife Laura, David P. Rosprim and wife Lulu, and Ryan Rosprim and wife Lisa Swiss. Great-grandchildren – Dawsyn and Gavin Dias, Lillian and Emilee Santos, Carlin and Caitlin Santos, Melissa and Alexandra Rosprim and Charlotte Rosprim. Services will be held on Monday, July 2nd at 10:00 am at the Corcoran United Methodist Church with burial immediately following at Corcoran District Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tulare Methodist Church Scholarship Fund, Corcoran Thursday Club Scholarship Fund, or the donor's favorite charity.
