Victor Rodriguez Obituary
Visalia - Victor G. Rodriguez, 73, of Visalia, California passed away on October 9, 2018. Victor was born in Visalia and grew up and attended school in Woodlake, California. Victor served in the Army for 6 years. He married Clemencia Rodriguez in 1970 and they celebrated 48 years of marriage. He retired from the postal service after 40 years of service.
Victor enjoyed watching baseball, basketball and football. He loved to watch his nephews and nieces play and especially loved watching his grandson play. He volunteered as an usher at St. Mary's Church and also volunteered at the Bethlehem Center. Victor was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pete Rodriguez and Mary Sanchez Rodriguez; his sisters, Matilda Lopez and Ramona Tirado. Victor is survived by his wife, Clemencia Rodriguez; his son, Victor Rodriguez; his daughter, Norma Rocha (Brett); his grandson, Brice Rocha; his brother, Stanley Rodriguez (Stella); his two sisters, Phyllis Castillo and Nellie Nunez (Joe); and many loving nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday October 18, 3:00 - 7:00 pm at Miller Memorial Chapel 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. The Rosary and Mass will be held Friday, October 19th at 9:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church followed by Interment at Visalia Public Cemetery.
