Allen Swasey Obituary
White River Junction, VT - Allen entered eternal rest at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH on January 16, 2025, after losing a battle with a long illness. Allen was born in August of 1989, at MHMH in Hanover, NH. Allen attended Hartford schools and received his diploma in 2007. He was 35 years old when he passed.
Allen was an avid outdoors man. He loved swimming, hiking, snowboarding, tubing, kayaking, fishing, hunting, and archery, amongst other outdoor activities, including skydiving on his 18th birthday with his father, Larry. He also enjoyed working on cars and handyman projects.
Allen is survived by his parents, Debra Donley and Larry Swasey, of White River Junction, VT, his two older sisters Celeste Devost of Brattleboro, VT, and Nicole Swasey of White River Junction, VT. His two daughters, Avery and Eliza Swasey, of Thetford, VT, were the lights in his life.
A graveside service will be held at the Christian Street Cemetery in Hartford, VT, at 10am on June 21, 2025. A celebration of life will follow at 12pm to 4pm at Storr's Hill Lodge in Lebanon, NH. So sorry for your loss. My heart hurts for all of you. Larry sending you a hug, wish it was in person. He and my son Allen Severance were both named after the same person, their grandfather Allen Severance. Please know we are thinking of you and love you.

Allen was like one of our Ski kids. Larry, Deb would bring the family over, to ski, to snowboard. We all had a blast playing outside together. Sorry we will miss the celebration as we are headed to Alaska. Hugs to all
