For those or our generation, and I suspect many that followed us, Alvin was a life shaping force. Calm, generous, genuinely caring. An example we could not help but admire and hope to emulate. RIP Alvin, I doubt you ever knew what a positive impact you had on so many HHS grads.

Please accept my condolences for the loss of Mr. Ricker. I was a student at HHS and remember him fondly for his soft, gentle nature. He gave generously of his life, sharing it with all of the students he came in contact with.May God bless you and comfort you during this difficult period.

Dear Bev, I was heartsick to see you had lost Alvin. I still miss you both at the lake--I miss your friendly faces, Alvin mowing, quiet evenings. It's not the same without you both. Love to you, Barbara
