David Karl Anoe

Windsor, VT - David Karl Anoe, a longtime resident of Windsor, died at 77 surrounded by his loved ones at his home on Saturday, December 24, 2022. He was born on September 27, 1945, in Colchester, VT to Karl V. and Margaret D. (Mayhew) Anoe and as a child moved with his family to Windsor where he enthusiastically became an active part of the community, first through the school system and later through the American Legion Post 25 and the Elks Lodge 1665. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam era and returned to Windsor after completing his tour of duty, met and married Linda Herschel in 1972, and together they made a home, raising their daughters near Kennedy Pond. He also loved to entertain and was a talented drummer and guitarist in various bands through the years.

David is survived by his wife Linda J. Anoe of Windsor; two daughters Kerri Farnsworth and husband Peter and Jennifer Bly and husband David, all of Goshen, NH; four grandchildren Jessica, Benjamin, Sarah, and Timmothy; four great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
