David Moses Obituary

David Almon Moses

Strafford, VT - David Almon Moses, 84, died at Union House Nursing Home in Glover, VT on Friday, January 31, 2025. He was born on August 19, 1940, in Hanover, NH to parents Almon R. and Eleanor (Harlow) Moses. David graduated from the Thetford Academy and was a dairy farmer for most of his life, keeping Jersey and Holstein cattle. At home on the Strafford farm and in the forest, he enjoyed deer hunting every fall.

He is survived by his brother Almon R. Moses and his wife Elizabeth (Morris) Moses of Guilford, VT, other relatives, and friends.

"He was a wonderful brother. He had a kind, gentle soul, and was probably the strongest man I've ever known."

A graveside service will be held later this spring in the Strafford Cemetery and memorial donations are appreciated to Neighbors Helping Neighbors, PO Box 25, Strafford, VT 05072.
