Jane Curtis Obituary

Jane Curtis

Enfield, NH - Jane Curtis, 69, of Enfield, NH, passed away on August 15, 2025. She was born on May 10, 1956, to Steven and Mildred (Light) Hidu. Jane grew up in the Greenfield Hill section of Fairfield, CT. As a young woman, she moved to New Hampshire to work with horses, later relocating to Colorado and Arizona before returning to New Hampshire in the early 2000's.

In 1983, Jane married David H. Curtis in Hanover, and together they shared many adventures until parting ways in 2003.

Jane will be remembered for her warm heart, independent spirit, and the things she loved most. She had a lifelong passion for animals, especially her horses, cats, and goats. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life-driving her beloved Smart car, tending to her flower gardens, reading mystery novels, and spending quiet moments working on puzzles.

She leaves behind her much-loved and cherished boyfriend since 2004, Tim Labbie. She also leaves behind her sister Linda Basil, her brother-in-law, Tom Bolduc, a brother Jack and Jim Hidu and her adored cat, Sylvia. She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris.

In keeping with Jane's wishes, there will be no formal services. She will be laid to rest at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery, Enfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: UVHS: P.O. Box 789, Lebanon, NH 03766. https://uvhs.org/donate-now/
