John was our neighbor, but so much more. John and Eileen were the first to welcome me to the neighborhood, it was a friendship we treasured. Eileen and John started spending holidays with Gary and I Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve and Easter. So much fun and lots of laughs.
After Eileen passed , John started coming for dinners and we went out to breakfast and Dinner many times for the last 19 months. John played golf with Gary every week, and it would start Monday the planning for Friday games. John became our personal security and our “ mail man”, if we weren’t home, we could see John getting the mail, moving packages in the shed his sense of humor is so much more to us, when at Halloween he would put the mail in the hand of a animatronic prop and then text, the monster has the mail. Many a patriots game and Celtics game in the “ big room” , even a Bruins game every once and awhile. John our last text was Monday afternoon, looking for “ The little guy” I will miss my lefty friend and most of all seeing him drive through the driveway on the little red machine that day we picked it up will always live in my heart , beaming ear to ear..
we loved you John as a family member, and we were lucky to have such a kind , funny, easy going neighbor. We wish we had one more laugh together, but those memories will live on in our minds and heart. Tell Eileen we miss her.
Much love
Kathy and Gary

John was not only my brother-in-law but a good friend . We played many rounds of golf at the Country club of New Hampshire. John was devoted to his lovely wife Eileen. When he wasn't golfing he spent 24-seven with Eileen. John will be sorely missed. Good friend who will be sorely missed. Bob Moriarty

A Brother’s Job
A brother’s job is to be protective and loving.
He lifted her high as a child.
He is a consultant and an authority (or so he believes.)
He is a source of comfort and laughter.
His presence can light up a room, and the laughter still rings once he leaves.
He knows his job and does it well.
A brother’s job is not only for a lifetime. It is a job he holds for eternity.
When he leaves, he still lifts his sister each day.
It is because his essence still lives forever in his sister's memories and hearts.
John knew his job and he did it so well.
He still remains on the job.
We love you John.
Always in my heart, sister Mary

In celebration of John’s Iife, I have chosen to plant trees as a tribute to our family's resilience. Though we may have grown in different directions, our connection remains unbreakable, with our love firmly rooted in the memory of our parents, Harold and Rose.
These trees are a gift for the future, offering others the chance to experience a deep bond with nature's beauty. Something I know John would have appreciated. Thank you John for being my big brother!
