Maureen Hannigan Obituary
Lebanon, NH - Maureen J. Hannigan, 67, after a years-long battle with Multiple Sclerosis, passed away Saturday February 4, 2023 at Lebanon Center-Genesis. She was born to the late Thomas & Eleanor (McAlonen) Hannigan. After moving to the Boston, MA area for college Maureen ultimately earned her Masters degree in counseling from Lesley College. Her great loves and accomplishments in life were her daughter, Alison, and granddaughter, Fiona. Time spent with Alison and Fiona knitting, listening to audio books, and watching true crime programs were Maureen's great passions and gave her great joy.
Maureen is survived by her daughter Alison Hannigan and her partner Traviss Hosna, and granddaughter Fiona Lewis. In addition, four brothers and a sister: Matthew Hannigan and his wife Maggie; Thomas Hannigan and his wife Kate; Timothy Hannigan; Kevin Hannigan and his wife Patricia; and Kathleen Santilli; along with many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to Maureen's Mass of Christian burial at the Sacred Heart Church in Lebanon, NH on Saturday February 25th at 11 AM.

Maureen was a very strong lady who was an excellent mom and she did an outstanding job of raising Alison into a wonderful, brave and compassionate woman. We have very fond memories of our interaction with Maureen, when we were living on Perley Avenue. May her soul rest in peace
