Max Shepherd Obituary
Grantham, NH - Max Shepherd of Grantham, NH passed away on Saturday, September 28th, 2024. He was 36 years old.
Max loved to play golf and grew up playing at Eastman Golf Links where he is a member. He was a four year varsity golfer and basketball player at Lebanon High School and was part of the 2004 NH State Golf Championship team. He graduated from Franklin Pierce University in 2011.
He is survived by three children, Colby, Mason, and Kinsley, both Parents, Ron and Carol Shepherd, and brothers David (Sarah), Craig (Elli), Nic (Shelbie), and Davso and 5 nieces and nephews Crew, Emerie, Weston, Jace and Sadie.
There will be a celebration of life at Eastman Golf Links at 3 pm on Thursday, October 3rd.
Max was known for his easy-going style that lifted everyone around him up. He had an infectious laugh, a warm heart, and was a devoted father. He'd want to remind his brothers that while he might not have had the longest drive, he always won.

Carol, my heart goes out to you and Ron and the extended Shepherd family. You were always there for me as a client and a friend. As was Max. His smiling face as I walked through the door of the office will be missed. Peace seems far off now, but it will find you in time.

Jim Nancy Jeffrey Amy and Rowan. To our love and prays are with you which you already know with an extra big one for Max. I buried a 40 year old daughter a number of years ago who had two daughters that my other daughter raised. Looking back ten years latter Kailey graduated Plymouth and works with disadvantage kids and the other four year starter Merrimack Valley Lacrosse and Field Hockey. In retrospect they did alright but the happiness I feel today is great but the sadness we felt was hard but you have a great family and that was our savoir it will be yours
