Anita Lewis had her sunrise in Texas on February 22, 1945 to parents Jose Jimenez and Felicitas Gonzales. After a long and beautiful 71 years, her sunset was on November 02, 2016 in California. Anita Lewis is survived by her loving husband Don Lewis, their children Monica (Bryan) Bready, Gary (Christine) Lewis, and Robert (Rebecca) Lewis. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Paige and Ryan Lewis, and her three brothers, Joe, Pete and Ernie. A Private Service will be held to honor the life of Ms. Anita Lewis at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary.

Anita, thank you for everything. I will always have memories of helping "pave" your driveway and projects with your family.
But mostly, thank you for giving yourself, love and education to "my people" in teaching them ESL.
I grieve for Don, Monica/Bryan, Gary/Christy, and Bob & Becky.
