Gail Daish Obituary

Gail Marie Daish, 53, passed away March 18, 2010, at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley. Born March 14, 1957, in Marquette, Mich., to V. Richard Daish and Elsie Mae Daish. She was a resident of the Southern California area for 20 years, and a prior resident of Porterville, CA for 20 years.
She graduated from Monache High School in 1975, and from Fresno State University in 1981 with a B.S. degree in special education teaching. She was a special-education teacher for more than 30 years.
Gail was a loving, caring person. She loved her work with special-needs people. She will be missed by family, friends and her students.
She is survived by her sister Pamela Cook of Cherry Valley; sister Corrine Daish-Ferguson of Joshua Tree; sister Shari Daish of Murietta, CA; niece Brittney Potts of Cherry Valley; brother-in-law Oren Cook of Cherry Valley; brother-in-law Chris Ferguson of Joshua Tree; and nephews Aaron Ferguson and Billy Ferguson, both of Joshua Tree. She is also survived by Trudy Givens of Porterville; grandmother Charlotte Premeau, aunts, uncles and cousins of Marquette, Mich., and aunts, uncles and cousins of Chicago, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, brother Duane Daish of Murrieta, CA.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 9, at Wiefels & Son Mortuary Chapel, 50 East Nicolet St. in Banning, (951) 849-4527, www.WiefelsMortuary.com. She will be inurned.

Yes, she will be missed, I remember us walking to school together when her family lived over off of Maston Street in Porterville, My condolences and prayers are with all of her family at this time.

my heart will be heavy knowing she is no longer with us, I always thought of gail as a sister,someone you could always talk to about anything and everything knowing it was going to be okay when you were done talking.she may be gone but in my heart she will never be far. My condolence to all the familyand friends who will deeply miss her!
