This afternoon, I learned of Grant's passing and I mourn with everyone else who has written their condloences in this guest book. Looking at all of the people who were blessed as Grant's life touched theirs made me want to share as well.
I met Grant when he was with Hill-Rom in the 1990's. He was a true professional and was always there to help whenever and wherever he could.
I remember joking with him about his size and telling him that if I were a Purchasing Director and if he squeezed himself through my office door, I would sign any purchase order he wanted me to just to make sure that I did not make him mad!
Grant was able to laugh about that because he knew that he was an intimidating presence wherever he went.
Grant blessed my life by being an example of what a man should be. He was proud of his family and loved them all. He was a great collegue and I was sad when he left for better opportunities, which he deserved!
As you read through these messages you will see that everyone admired Grant and some of us actually loved him for who he always was. Grant was the kindest gentleman I ever met. He enriched the lives of everyone he met and I thank God that he loaned us the treasure who was known as Grant Feasel.
May God bless and comfort his family and I pray that they will understand that we all send our thoughts and prayers to them.
Grant, may you rest in eternal slumber in the arms of the Lord as you were one of His best works to ever inhabit this world.
We all miss you and look forward to the day when we may see you again.
Thanks for the gift of your kindness to me. You will not be forgotten.

Mrs. Feasel, Linda & Greg,
Ironically I was in Seattle when Rudy Bryan gave me the news of Grant's passing. I pray that his children will carry on what I know was a true legacy of goodness, honesty and integrity. It's been years since I spoke with him but we only lived a few miles apart and he as well as the Feasel family were often in my thoughts.

God truly blessed your family.

Although I live in Nashville, I would often travel to TX and work with Grant during his career at Acuson/Siemens. I always looked forward to spending a few days on the job with Grant, as he was funny as could be. His genuine kindness and calm demeanor was admired by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. I am so sad to hear of his passing, and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My son, Chad, informed me of Grant's passing and my thoughts went immediately to the memories of living in Barstow, and the Feasel family who lived across the street. This whole family is very dear to me and very close to my heart. My prayers go out to them during this difficult time and the memories of this lively, funny, awesome family will be with me forever.
Love and huge hugs to you all...

Sometimes it is the little things that someone does that can make the biggest difference in another's life. Your father made many such impressions on others in the past 2 years that I have known him. I will always remember him as a kind light in the world. It was so clear that he loved his children very much.

Sean, Sarah, and Spencer,
I worked with your Dad for 5 years at Fuji. During that time we spent hours and hours in the car together. Needless to say I've heard many of his stories. As you can imagine many were football war stories but there were an equal number of stories about the three of you. He was so proud of each of you!
Myself and four others from Fuji attended the memorial service and it solidified for us what an outstanding father you had. His stories will live on through all of us, as I will never forget the time I spent with him.

God Bless.

My heart, condolences and blessing go out to the Feasel Family. My best memory of the Grant Brothers was the joy I felt when they both made it to the NFL. Our prayers and condolences to Grant's family and friends. My fondest memory of Grant,is during his time working at the Naugles Drive Thru,in Barstow.I would be coming in,to start my shift, as Grant was finishing up his.To this day,i can still see his tall frame folded up and sitting on an old milk crate, just outside the backdoor.Wearing the orange smock and the little Naugles paper hat.He would be peeling onions and tossing them into a gray bus tray.He was always smiling and he would take time out to chat with me,before i clocked in.when I heard he had made it into the NFL I was so happy for him and proud of him.I used his accomplishments,as a motivation for me,as well as when I talked to my children about what they wanted to do,when they got older.Telling them about Grant, the guy I worked with, who decided on his career, set a goal, worked hard and went on to play pro football.I have great respect and admiration for Grant and will always remember him as the onion peeling teenager that motivated me to never stop dreaming, working or reaching for what you want.Thank You Mr.Grant Feasel, you have been and will continue to be one of the happy memories of my life growing up in Barstow.May the lord bless and strengthen his family during this difficult time. The Munro family

Grant, when I heard the news, the memory that comes to mind is playing Pop Warner Youth Football and continuing on into High School with you. You were the center for the Barstow Riffians/Aztec team. He was one player that was very dedicated and focussed throughout practice and games. He will be missed but, not forgotten.
I thank God to know that this man truly knew the Lord, because I know where his final Home is and it is a place where we all should want to go. Life is short and we must all give our lives to the Lord. Here's to you buddy (Grant), my center on the field. I look forward to meeting you someday in heaven, so that we can have another round in a great football game in heaven. To Grants family know that my wife and I pray for Gods peace & comfort upon all of you. Love you and God Bless, may you forever rest in peace.

My name is Jan Mcdowell. I first met Grant at Harris Hospital. He was the rep for the Hill Rom beds. He was such a soft spoken Man. He was always there to help us when there was a need. Low & behold, I saw him at The Hills shortly after that. He spoke of how the kids went to Dallas Christian School,& changed to FWC. He prayed the change would not be to much for the Family. After I lost my husband at 54 yours old,& when Grant saw me, he always ask how I was doing . I could always tell him. He understood. What a Great Man of God he was. God Is Good & Great. God will stand by you , in this season of life. I will continue to pray for you all. I am thankful to have known Grant!

To Cyndy and all of the Feasel Family,
I first heard of the wonderful people you are when my college teammate, Keli McGregor, befriended you in the mid 80's. Keli told me all about you as he developed a fantastic relationship while he was on the team. He had so much admiration because of your hospitality and great times while in Seattle.

I played briefly with Greg in San Diego (1987) and quickly realized what a wonderful pair of brothers the 2 Feasel Boyz were...

My only year with the Seattle was really in part die to a finger injury Grant sustained in the pre-season of 1989. I was called in to help with the long snapping duties after Grant was hurt. I played for the Seahawks only that one season. Grant and Brian Millard (Bevo) were the two players who welcomed me after I made the team. I will always appreciate that!
Grant was a terrific player who had a passion to be a surgeon. He didn't know if the injuries to his hands would be a inhibitor to that profession, so he stayed with football for several more years. :) Good choice.
I remember him rooming with Jeff Kemp on the road and Grant would always order a Club sandwich and a bowl of French Onion soup from the hotels' room service. I took his advise and ordered the soup for the remainder of my career too. Better choice, Grant.

Grant would often sing the catchy tune from Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs while walking out to practice. At the top of his voice he would begin..."Hi-Ho, Hi-Hooooo." It was off to work he went!
Grant would laugh at the Bowl of Fruit jokes and so would everyone else.
He was a great teammate and a lot of fun in the locker room.
I am sure Chuck Knox and the entire coaching staff were thrilled to have him anchor the offensive line as the starting center for the team.

I am not aware of things that happened after his playing days were over so I will only say that I wish you all the best in your efforts to keep the good things he was able to accomplish as powerful reminders of the extraordinary person he was.

I remember him with several fun stories, and a smile on my face. Those were good times.

May your family be Blessed beyond understanding...
