Hannah Elizabeth (Price) Freeman of Apple Valley, California, known to most as Betty, died on February 28, 2016 at Sterling Commons, Victorville, California. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on January 21, 1925, she was the daughter of Chesley and Violet (Hiscock) Price of Newfoundland, Canada. She was the devoted wife of, and predeceased by, her husband of almost 60 years, Frederick W. Freeman. She was also predeceased by her sisters Lillian Stevens of N. Conway, NH, and Dorothy Gorham of Apple Valley, CA. Betty is survived by her children Fred (Connie) Freeman, Linda Van Noy, Sharon (Terry) Donath, Donna Freeman and husband Gene Erbin, as well as 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She also leaves five brothers, Edward L (Jean) Price of Derry, NH, Wilbur Price of Fort Myers, FL, Allen G. (Audrey) Price of Van Alstyne, TX, Frederick (Brenda) Price of Chester, NH and Peter (Marie) Price of Peabody, MA, and many nieces and nephews. Betty graduated from Somerville High School in Massachusetts. She was a homemaker and Navy wife for almost 25 years. She was a longstanding member of the Victorville United Methodist Church and was very active in the United Methodist Women and the choir. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 12th at the Victorville United Methodist Church.
