Isabelle Elder

Isabelle Elder, 94, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002 in Barstow. Born June 15, 1907 in Lynn, Mass., Elder lived in Barstow for 52 years. A homemaker, Elder was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Mojave Valley Senior Citizens. She loved playing cards. Elder was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Elder. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Vincent and Rosalie Micdema of Boise, Idaho; her daughter, LaVaughn Cook of Boise; grandsons John R. Cook and Robert J. Cook, both of Boise; and granddaughter Tamara Cook of Emmitt, Idaho. Private family services were held. Burial was at Mountain View Memorial Park. Mead Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
