Lore Feller-Varela Obituary
Lore G. Feller-Varela, 83, passed away March 11, 2011 in Redlands. She was born April 18, 1927 in Schwerin, Germany, and has lived in the Yermo and Barstow areas since 1959.
Lore was a switchboard operator for Barstow Hospital, and also worked as a chef. She was a homemaker for many years, and was known for her housekeeping.
Lore is preceded in death by her husband's, Peter Feller Sr., and Richard S. Varela; and children, Peter Feller Jr., and Heide-Marie Feller.
Surviving Lore are her children, Anke L. Tuers of Laceyville, Pa., Dave R. Feller of Wrightwood, Calif., William J. Feller of Mentone, Calif., and Robert V. Feller of Santee, Calif.; 25 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service for Lore will be on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Mead Mortuary, 36930 Irwin Road. Burial will follow at Mt. View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Road.
