Louisa Flores

Louisa Cubillos Flores, 83, a resident of Barstow for 79 years, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003 suddenly at Loma Linda Medical Center. She was born August 19, 1920 in Fort Worth, Texas.She was a packer at the Marine Corps Logistics Base for 25 years. Louisa found great joy in her family and will be missed as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a great-great-grandmother.Survivors include her son, John G. Flores and his wife Dora of Albuquerque; daughters, Angie Acosta and her husband Albert and Virginia Chavez and her husband Eloy of Barstow; sister, Natividad Gonzales of Los Angeles; brother, Genaro Cubillos and his wife Nora of Boston, Mass; seven grandchildren, 21 great-grand children and 11 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.Rosary will be Monday, Dec. 29, 2003 at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 505 E. Mt. View. Memorial mass will follow at 10 a.m. also at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
