Nancy Wilcox Obituary

Nancy Wilcox, 48, passed away Oct. 8, 2007, surrounded with love, at her home in Oceanside with her husband and family after a long battle with cancer.

Nancy was born April 18, 1959, to Edward and Marva Hothan at Loma Linda University Hospital. She lived her entire youth in Fawnskin.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.

Nancy graduated from Big Bear High School in 1977, then attended Sawyer Business School in Orange County.

After finishing her schooling, she married Philip Kallenberger and had two children, Ross and Anna Kallenberger.

In 1992 she married Harry "Butch" Wilcox who brought to the family his two sons, Joe and Todd Wilcox. Together they raised their four children.

Nancy was a devoted employee for both Marie Callendars in Victorville, then Coco's and Mimi's Restaurant in Oceanside where she was admired and made a big impact on her co-workers and customers for her loving heart, kindness and friendly smile.

She is survived by her loving husband, Butch; her four children; two grandchildren, Chase Ray and Reese Kallenberger; mother, Marva Hothan; brother, Charles Hothan; sister, Kara Burkman; nieces, nephews, aunt and cousins.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 27 in the Sun City Villas Club House, 26100 Birkdale Road, Sun City, for her many friends and family.

The family has asked in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to Kaiser Permanente Hospice Dept., 10992 San Diego Mission Road, FRNT, San Diego, CA 92108-2444.
