Richard Marsh Obituary

Richard Marsh
Yermo resident Richard O. Marsh passed away on Nov. 2, 2008. He was born on Nov. 5, 1945 in Los Angeles.
Richard was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.
He married the love of his life, Jennifer Scott on Aug. 30, 1996, in Barstow. His passing was quick and unexpected.
Richard was a firefighter with the Marine Corps Logistics Base. He retired in 2000 after 22 years with the department. He also served on the Barstow Fire Department as a volunteer for many years. He was currently working at the Barstow court house as a security guard. Richard had many friends at the court house, at area fire departments and throughout the police department and sheriff's department, as well as personal friends and family who will sorely miss him.
Surviving Richard are his wife, Jennifer Marsh; close family friend, Mac McHenry; daughters, Leona Wallace and her husband, Scott of Yermo, Nicole Marsh of Washington, Valerie Neukam-Brooks of Connecticut, Betty Wilkinson of Michigan, and Charlene Kissinger of Michigan; grandchildren, Jeremy Wallace, who was his shadow and who Richard cherished very much, Diana Wallace, Richard's little Princess, Alex Scheer of Lima, Ohio, and Courtney and Ashlee Kissinger of Michigan; sister, Francis Ringlstetter and her husband George; and nephews, George, Chris, and Mark Ringlstetter and their families of Barstow.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Mead Mortuary, 36930 Irwin Road.
