SALLY BAKER Our Mom, Sally Baker, 76, entered into eternal rest on Apr 9, 2012. Mom, known to family as Manina was born on Oct 15, 1935 in Hatch, NM. She lived in California approx. 55 years, 27 of those in Victorville. Our devoted Mother had been a homemaker for most of her life, but did work and retire from Target in Victorville. She loved her time there, and made many friends who she called her "kids." Mom is survived by 6 children, Richard Avalos of Hesperia, Sandra Angel of Running Springs, Laura Stubblefield of Lawton, OK, Edward, and David Avalos of Victorville, Liuie Avalos of Denver, CO, 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 5 of her 8 sisters, and many family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lonnie Baker in 2007, and Angel Avalos in 1975, and her parents Efrain and Siblila Serna. Visitation and funeral proceedings will be held Monday, Apr 16 at 1pm, at Desert View Memorial Park, 11500 Amargosa Rd in Victorville. Mom will be greatly missed, but we know she is finally home with Lonnie.
