STEVEN E. MILLER

STEVEN E. MILLER 1/10/1949 - 8/7/2014 Steve Miller passed away suddenly at age 66, his loving wife Irma Miller was at his side. He was born in Long Beach, California in January 1948 and died on August 7, 2014 in Apple Valley, California. He lived his entire life in various California cities such as Long Beach, Bishop, Victorville and Apple Valley. In 1975, Steve met the loves of his life: Irma and her son, Ruben. Their beloved daughter, Bernadette was born in 1977. Joy continued to grow in his heart as his family expanded to include three grand-children. Steve was a loving caring man who dedicated his life to providing for his family. He and Irma were proudly married for 39 years. Steve enjoyed varied work such as with the Department of Fish and Game, just like his father. He also worked in construction, was a truck driver and was, at one point, a rodeo rider who was awarded a belt buckle. He was employed at TXI Riverside Cement for the past 33 years. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Harold E. Miller and Marietta E. Miller as well as his brother, Greg Miller. Steve is survived by his wife Irma Miller, son Ruben (Traci), daughter Bernadette (Filiberto), grandchildren Marissa, Elizabeth and Michael; his in-laws Maria Herrada, Olga Herrada and Isaias Herrada and Gloria Miller; various nieces and nephews along with numerous friends and co-workers. Memorial services for Steve will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 21514 Wren St., Apple Valley on September 6th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
