John was a resident of Kennebunk, Maine at the time of passing.
John joined the Army in March of 1956, serving as a military policeman.
Visiting hours will be held 4 - 7 PM Monday, with a Masonic Memorial Service at 7 PM on Monday, February 25 2019, from Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St. Kennebunk. Spring Interment with military honors will be in First Parish Cemetery in York. I always loved seeing John come into the law office where I worked. He was a tremendous asset to the York County Sheriff's Dept. and a wonderful man.

John was a great Uncle. My favorite memory of him was at holiday dinners. He liked to tease my Mom. He would 'accidently' drop food scraps on the floor for her dog against her will. Then he would let her know what happened, rub his hands together in his John way, and laugh. He he he
