My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Brown family as you seek comfort in dealing with your loss. I remember Brandon as one of my precious little 3rd grade students, always inquisitive and wanting to learn more. More recently, I watched from the sidelines as Brandon coached my grandson in baseball. His love and compassion for all of "his" kids showed through his patience and understanding. Brandon will be missed.

I went to school with Brandon for 12 years, but never got to know him fully, and haven't seen him since we graduated High School together 20 years ago. But, even back then, I had specifically thought to myself that the world would be a better place to live with more people like him. He never did anything wrong to me; and neither did he ever treat me with contempt, but he always showed the utmost respect you give another person. No more or less.
The platitude is: that the Good die Young. Well, I'm starting to believe it. Because, Brandon was as Good as they come. And, even though he's living in a much better place now, his family are suffering here, and have the need for the utmost support.
