Carolyn Emmons Obituary
December 15, 1945 - March 10, 2022
Carolyn Sidener Emmons, 76, of Robinson passed away on March 10, 2022. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, March 21, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 12 to 1 p.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Carolyn was born on December 15, 1945, in McAllen, Texas, to Jimmie and Marianna Sidener. She was a graduate of Connally High School in Waco. Carolyn married Garland Emmons on March 8, 1968. She and Garland were the owners of Waco Army-Navy Surplus for 41 years. Garland preceded her in death on April 22, 2002. She enjoyed being a rodeo mom, hauling and watching her kids participate for many years. Later in life, she loved Sunday drives, listening to WBAP radio, and long talks on the phone with her grandchildren. Being mom and MomC brought her the greatest joy.
Carolyn was also preceded in death by her parents; and great-granddaughter, Kinzley Jewel.
Survivors include her children, Stacy Maddox and husband, Kevin; Cliff Emmons and wife, Mandi; grandchildren, Cheyenne Myers and husband, Kyle; Kodi Fuller and fiancé, Reed; Carson Emmons, Cooper Emmons; and great-granddaughter, Kirby Myers. She is also survived by her brother, Johnny Sidener and wife, Nelda; and numerous nieces and nephews.

I just found where Carol has passed away. Carol and my sister, Linda Sanders Junghens, used to ride horses together with two other friends. I used to babysit Carol's only child at the time. Carol was like another daughter in our family. Please know that I am so sorry with her passing. May God wrap his arms around all of you & provide comfort during this time. In 2003, Linda had come for her class reunion at Connally and we came to see Carol. Love and prayers to all of you. RIP Carol.
