Danny Abernathy Obituary
Danny James was born to Wallace William and Mary Virginia Abernathy on July 25, 1951 in Clarksville, Texas. He married Mary Beth Hennig at the Church of Assumption in West, Texas on November 18, 1972.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Mary; and brother, Jackie Abernathy.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Beth Abernathy; their children, Michelle Abernathy, Eric Abernathy and his wife, Stacie; grandchildren, Samantha, Joshua, Jayden, and Jarrett Abernathy. Danny is also survived by his brothers, William "Butch" Abernathy and wife, Janice, Steve Abernathy and wife, Angie, and Mark Abernathy and wife, Lisa; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Those serving as a pallbearer are Rodger Burdick, Larry De La Garza, Chris Hoover, Brent Mink, Eddie Nash, and Billy Pavelka.
In honor of Danny, his family suggests charitable contributions be given to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 9821 Frankford Avenue, Lubbock, TX 79424 or the American Cancer Society, 3511 10th Street, Lubbock, TX 79415.

As kids Danny and his brothers grew up with me my ssisters, and brother. We where all like a neighbor group. I love his family and him, he was a great person. Now he can be just as great as an angel watching over his beautiful wife,children, and grandchildren.
