Mrs. Levison, Terri and family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of my high school friendships and of building our "homecoming float" in your garage. My prayers go out for your family and for David that you may find the peace you all so richly need and deserve.

Dave was a true friend in every since of the word. He stood by those he loved and cherished. Allways there to lend a helping hand even when he had not much to share he shared of himself. He was allways there to lend and ear and some words of love and wisdom. His heart was as vast as his abilities and intellegence. My memories of Dave are vast. He often spoke faundly of his mom and his sisters and Halloween. He spoke often of his father who he respected and cherished. Their working together creating paints and brushes, trips to museums and all the wordly knowledge and wisdom he recieved from both his parents. I recieved the honor and priviledge of having such a devoted man who loved me dearly (for he told me every day whilst bringing me flowers). Dave and I worked learned, laughed, cryed, respected and loved together. We looked out for one another at times when we had wonderful friends and family and in other times we where never alone for we had each other. Dave loved working with one of his many treasured friends Mr. Chrisman at the farm where they grew vegetables and we all picked them together and shared them with others. It what truly a time of peace for us both. Times of playing soccer at the park, feeding the many squirels, and Dave could whip up a mean grilled eggplant and ribs. I enjoyed the honor of working with Dave who was and outstanding journeyman. Daves abilities and talents in cabinetry, fine woodworking, construction (all phases of) remodeling where remarkable. Dave could take a piece of raw material to the point of a flawless work of art that left you breathless. His abilities as a property manager and guard where that of a true protector of safety. Dave was a true patriot standing together in every since of the word. Dave tried to be part of the solution to many problems. I found a quotation I'd like to share that describes his feeling of patriotism which I found to also be of high importance to this unique man you called son, brother and friend: The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. Edmund Burke

Dave in life you are truly missed, loved and cherished. Had we been allowed a moments peace I would have excepted your proposal, my love. You Dave made the world a better place.

I'll remember all those memorable times, as we raced throughout our teenage years and lost ourselves in our youth. I'm sorry that we ever lost track of eachother over the past two decades. I miss you and I love you, my brother. I'll still think of you often, though your soul now rests with God and your father, in the meadows along heaven's way.

God's grace to your sisters and mother. My prayers of concern, sympathy, peace, and hope surround them. Goodbye for now, brother "Levee".....
