Very talented people often live complicated lives. This is such an example of a wonderful public servant, dedicated employee and cherished co-worker. Grace and comfort to the family and many friends. We are all better people for our association.

What can say about a person's life...I knew Harold as a good friend and decent guy. I remember many wiffle ball games with Harold and my brothers in "Baker Stadium", an old corral between his house and the railroad tracks. Good times...riding in his '56 chevy with his saint's medal hanging from the rear view mirror, trying to figure out why he liked the Yankees so much, I figure every one had to have at least one weakness... Sharing hobbies, Harold was always kind. He was one of the very few that ever called me "Tommie", the name that my family used--time has a way of moving on, but anchored in it all is grand memories of Harold. May he find abundant peace and joy among the saints, and may God grant great comfort to his family. Dr.(Tom) Mark Stewart (MHS Class of '66) Pittsburg, Kansas

I played trumpet along with Harold, although two years behind him in school. He was as great a person as he was a trumpeter. Blessings to all.
