Jack Sikes Obituary

Jack "Buddy" Sikes, 76, of Robinson, passed away at his home Saturday, June 9, 2012. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. with Bro. Caroll Hambrick officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Buddy was born July 12, 1935 in Marlin Tx, to Elic and Vallie Sikes. He served in the United States Army for 9 years. Buddy worked for the Post office, Western Union, and retired from Lehigh Cement after 30 years of service. He enjoyed bowling, golf, traveling, and a good time. Buddy was a jack of all trades, using his talents to help the women in his life. He was a family man, loving to spend time with his wife children, and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ruth Kilpatrick, and Betty Rowland.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Sikes; daughters, Elizabeth Brim, Debbie Combs, and Rhonda Owens and husband, Rickey; sisters, Virginia Canady, Patsy Willis, and Barbara Young; brother Willis Sikes; 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Buddy, you will be miss by everyone that has ever met you. You just have that effect on ppl, a kind loving heart and soul. God has called you home now. No more sorrow no more pain.
