Sondra, it has been many years and, as I am getting older, am reflecting on the past. Bryce was at least one of, if not the only friend I had at that point in time of my life. He invited me and introduced me to Jackson and Sondra and they, based solely upon Bryce's word that I was worthy of their attention. The whole family treated me, relatively a stranger, as family. I will never forget Bryce's energy and positivity. Rest in peace Bryce.
Love,

Mrs. Burch, Ben and families,
How I will miss my friend. To remember the times we played together as children. Having lived across the street on Skyline since I was 4 years old, the trouble we would get into as children was endless. Bryce, being the oldest, was closest to my age, a little younger, but not by much, refused to be watched over by me as I babysat the younger brothers. I will miss Bryce, as I do the rest of your family. They were all very dear to me. You know "Miss Faye" is watching over your loved one now. My heart goes out to you and my prayers will be endless to try to ease your pain. I love you all.

I am so sorry to hear about Bryce's passing. Bryce and I were great friends and I have thought about him many times over the years. We went to school and worked together but I lost track after I moved away from Waco. I will keep your family in my prayers.

To the Family, please accept my most sincere condolences in the loss of Bryce. He was a great friend and truly one of life’s gifts. I met him in 1976, he was my neighbor, and quickly became my good friend. I think everyone who met him became his friend. Bryce and I shared some of life’s struggles and were great counsel for each other. He was a great friend and ally. I saw him infrequently after about 1986 but I thought of him often and was blessed every time we crossed paths. When my daughter became pregnant this year my wife and I were pleasantly surprised to hear she’d chosen the name Bryce for the baby upon finding it was a boy she was carrying. We quickly reminisced all the good times we’d had with your Bryce and enjoyed it. She’d met Bryce as a child was too young to remember him. Our Bryce was born yesterday, November 12, at 7:46 pm. As God called one Bryce home He blessed us with another. Now we’ll remember our good friend, Bryce Burch, every time we see our Grandson or hear his name mentioned. I’m glad to see that Bryce found Christ as I did in 1990. I take great comfort in the promise of the reunion in I Thessalonians 4:13-18, knowing we’ll cross paths again. May your Bryce rest in God’s Eternal Peace.

Very Respectfully Yours,

Bryce and Mary Ann - Christmas 1977
