James Albert Jones, 61, of Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024.

James was born in Austin, Tx on October 31, 1963, to Albert and Billie (Hall) Jones.

He graduated Connally High School and Texas State Technical College in Waco, TX with a AAS degree in Instrumentation. He worked in the field for many years.

James enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also had a love for reading, music and animals.

James is survived by his sisters Cindy Grams, and husband Steven, of Waco, TX, and Beverly Straub and husband John Rogers, of Fischer, TX. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Bethany Grams, Gregory Grams, David Grams and wife, Chelsea, Mary Jones and fiancé Daniel Jost, Audrea Straub and husband Will Battaile, as well as one great nephew, Miles Battaile.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert Dale and Billie Jean (Hall) Jones, his grandmother, Marie (Kinsey) Hall McFadden, and sister, Martha (Jones) Johnson.

I remember James from Connally and he delivered my wall board to me at Fleetwood. he was a big ole guy with a big ole grin and was kinda quiet and always friendly and nice to everyone. have not seen him since the 80,s but will always remember him. condolences to the family.

You will be missed by many cousins and family, James Albert. I will never forget we always called you the spook cause you were born on Halloween. I loved visiting y'all in Austin n Connally. Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers through this trying time. Thanks for being the strong one Beverly n taking care of all the business. Love to all.
