Dec. 19, 1957 - July 11, 2021
John I Hammons, 63, of Lacy Lakeview, passed away Sunday July 11, 2021. Services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, July 15, at Bellmead Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 14, at the funeral home.
John was born December 19, 1957, in Hillsboro, Texas, to James and Florrie Hammons. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and worked as a salesman for Waco Meat Services for 19 years.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Florrie Hammons; wife, Angie Hammons; sons, Joel Hammons and wife, Rachel; Justin Hammons; and Jason Hammons and wife, Kayla; daughter, Amber Davis; his sister, Debby Grones and husband, Gary; and brother, David Hammons and wife, Cindy; his grandchildren, Landon Hammons and Willow.
