Hey little brother,

I love you and miss you very much. It is hard to believe that a year has passed without you and that there are more to come without you. It sucks and we hate it. We wish you were here to be with us, but we know that you are in a better place. Keep a watchful eye over us. We can definitely use it. :)

Love your big sis,

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your son and know how hard it must be. I know that Julien is probably up there watching and protecting his family and remembering those wonderful "enchiladas." I do not know you, but I wanted to say that as a mother you should be very proud of the fine son you raised. I have never seen so many thoughtful comments toward such a wonderful young man. I am also proud that you, through Julien have also helped so many other people through organ donation. I know that Julien must be just as proud of you. You and Julien are in my thoughts and prayers.

What happened can be described as nothing more than a tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with Julien's family. I was honored enough to know Julien through school. He was always there for anybody that needed him, and always there to cheer up a bad day. I just wish I could have kept intouch more. Julien you are missed, such a wonderful soul, entirely too young to be taken from this world. It was beyond a honor to know you and be your friend. May you rest in peace, and may I one day get to see you again.

Words can not express what Julien meant to our family. He was like one of our own. Adam could not have had a better friend. He was there in the good & the bad times. Our hearts are broken that we will not see his smiling face and hear his laughter , but I know that is just for a little while. I look forward to that joyous day when we reunite again , until then he will forever be in our hearts. I thank you Julien for all the healing that you have given us.Tommy, Tere, Skyler & Shawntay may the Lord give you peace and comfort in the days ahead.

I know Julien from Riesel High School from substitute teaching for a number or years. I had Julien on many occasions in my classes. He was such a happy, friendly and outgoing person! He had a smile that would make your worst day turn out good. I know that you will miss him greatly and my wish for you is that God will help ease the pain that you are going thru right now. Remember that He is there for you and will carry you through when you think that you cannot go any further....just rely on Jesus and your friends to comfort you. I am truly sorry for your loss. God bless you and your family.

Deepest sympathy to the family. We have just recently come to know a member of the family and feel her pain with this loss. To all the family, know that he is now your angel in heaven and looking down on you with a smile and a prayer. The gift of life you have shared with others through him is a tribute to his life. God Bless!

I had the privilege of getting to know your son the last months of his Senior year. Julien was always engaging, respectful and up-beat in school. He worked diligently on his studies and had defined goals for his future. My prayers are with your family in this time of great loss. I pray that the Lord would provide you comfort and refuge in your time of need and that you would find peace in Him.

Our time on this earth is numbered, but each of us leaves a legacy when we are called home. Your selfless act of organ donation has allowed multiple lives to be blessed and changed, and has postively altered leagcies yet to be written.

Julien's smiling face will forever be etched in my memory and of those whose path he crossed. I extend my love and deepest sympathy to you during this time of sorrow.

i do not know your family, but i would like to say thank you for choosing organ donation.
we lost our 9yr old son a few months ago and we made the decision to let him live on through others, and what a wonderful feeling that gives us.
we have been to candle light memorials and met other donor and recepient families and even the transplant team, how amazing that was.
so i want to let you know that your family will be in our thoughts and prayers, may god bless all of you and again thank you

To the family:

Hopefully this poem brings you comfort when you are missing J. We love you guys!

David, Kim, Brandon, Garrett & Colton

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived today okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Brenda

Sorry to hear about your unexpected loss, I did not know Julien. Your loved one will live on in the lives he has changed. (organ donor)Julien has given life back to 12 people and sight to 2 people. I know some policies won't allow you to know who the organs went to but it would be nice if you could find out and watch your loved one live on in these peoples lives. Thank you to Juliens older brother who has gone to Iraq and fought for his country on 3 occaisions. May GOD find you in this time of need.
