Lari, Fred and family,

I grew up in my high school days around Kenny. He was one of the first people to tell me "welcome home" after my second trip to Vietnam. When I came in from Germany headed for my first trip to Vietnam, one of the first places I went was to the station to see Ken. He tossed me the keys to the vette as he had just finished the new engine. Not many people that he would do that too so I felt very honored. I also remember mowing the grass at his dads house and we were in the back and he poured some gas along the fence to kill the weeds. He started to light it and I said uhhh Kenny, there is alot of gas there...next thing I know we both had our eyebrows singed. I said hey, you're a fireman, he looked at me and said let's go get something to eat. I could tell you all a whole bunch of these little stories but I won't take up all this space. I just want you to know I really loved that guy and our family will be praying for him and for all of you. I broke up with my girlfriend for not telling her we were going to Little River to race one Sunday, we had a great race day. Never did go out with her again but Kenny and I went racing again and again and again...

Lari, I am so sorry for your loss, My God go with you and protect you and the family, I will most likely miss the services as I will be out of town, and don't know if I can get back in time.I know you all call Kenneth "Fireman", but I will always remember him as "Pugsley" from the fire station.

The first time that I met Ken and Lari was in 1973, at Poppa Rollo's, for the Corvette club meeting. Ken was such a likeable, happy, and fun person, but his smile was precious.

Those were the good old days. You will be missed by many.

Lari and Family,

Please accept my most heartfelt condolences for the passing of Ken. I will forever remember his wit and his robust affection for his family and Corvettes. He will be racing around the Pearly Gates while keeping a careful eye on those of us still here on Earth. Godspeed my friend.
