Kristopher and Christy, I am so saddened to hear of your loss of Kristian. I never met Kristian but I prayed for him and your family. I have seen some of his artwork and both he and Kermit are so gifted. I feel in my heart that Kristian made his peace with God. I also feel that he will soon be sharing his gift in a place where we all pray that we will go when that time comes. May God give you peace and comfort in your time of need and may you grow stronger in Him in every situation.

Love you both,
Paulette Brooks

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Oliver,
Kit brightened my day with his letters. He was articulate, intelligent, knowledgeable, caring, encouraging and helpful. We shared a common bond with our love for animals and for Cameron Park. He showed gentleness, a kind heart and a sweet sense of humor. Khristian wrote of his daughter and interests he wanted to share with her. I know he appreciated your dedication and sacrifices and knew you loved and cared for him. His decorum was surely due to this devotion.
My deepest sympathy goes to you, your family and his friends. I will miss him.

Weeping may endure for a night, He did not promise us how long the night was going to be, how lonely the night was going to be or how dreary the night was going to be, the only thing He assured you was that JOY would come in the morning.

I own one of Kermit's scarves and it is my privilege to wear it and to have met the artist who painted it. I hope Khristian can finally feel the beauty we all see in this talented family's art. May you all find comfort in the beauty around you.

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Khristian Oliver was a beautiful person. I knew him only briefly, but I truly believe that people come into our lives for a reason. He left an imprint on my heart that will never be forgotten.
