To the family of our beloved brother and friend, we offer our deepest sympathies and comfort from our LORD God. I have known him for a good while, but as long as others. He was a gift from God as a friend, educator, businessman, leader, and family man. You are missed but not forgotten. Rest in the Lord, my brother.

Lester McDowell and I taught science in WISD. We taught at different schools but during the GT pullout program for elementary students we would teach together. He had a smile that would engage the students as well as own unique way of instruction. He was a talented man and moved into a leadership position with WISD. Many lives have been enriched because of his servant leadership.
