Lucille Jordan Obituary
Lucille Griggs Surovik Jordan was born Oct. 20, 1925, to James Henry and Theresa (Wesolek) Griggs in Brenham, Texas. Lucy, or Nanny as her grandchildren affectionately called her, was a kind-hearted woman with a free spirit and a love for life. She enjoyed dancing, live music, late night TV, word finds and her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret; and loving son, Patrick Surovik.
Lucy is survived by her son, Michael Surovik; grandchildren, Brian, Stephanie, Michael, Brigette and Stephen; six great-grandchildren; and many cherished friends and family.
Lucy specifically requested only two yellow roses for her service, one for each of her sons. To honor her request, her family asks in lieu of flowers, donations to assist with her service be made to OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque, Waco, 76710, c/o Stephanie Smith.
