Opal Conner Mrs. Conner, mother of Alfred Conner Jr. and wife, Beverly and Thressa Thomas and husband, Wilmer, all of Waco, passed away at Quality Care Of Waco. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at Moore's Angelic Funeral Home. A remembrance gathering for family and friends, without the body present, will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, at The Westside Community Center, Corner of Main and Belknap in Mexia. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at the First Baptist Church, 500 E. Carthage Street in Mexia, with the Rev. Darrick Bledsoe and the Rev. Clifton Davis officiating.Interment at the Sandy Creek Cemetery in Coolidge, Texas.
