She loved her new home and her neighbors who became like her family. Penny faced many health obstacles in her last years with courage, strength, and grace. Her kind and loving heart and beautiful smile will be missed by us all.

I hardly have a life memory when I didn't know Penny. At least since third grade for sure. We grew up neighbors on Charboneau Drive. Went to Mountainview Elementary together (probably Hillcrest before that), Lake Air Jr. High, then Richfield. Had lots of classes with her; but the best was World History at Richfield. We sat next to each other and gave old Mrs. Morehead all kinds of trouble, and laughed about it all the time. Man, she had a great laugh. I lost track of her after high school. Saw her maybe a couple times. Then I went to college, moved out of state, and never saw her again. She was one of the truly nicest people I knew growing up. Rest easy, Penny.

I was so sorry to hear of Penny´s passing. I went to school with Penny from elementary to high school, and our birthdays were one day apart. We also were friends through our church Lake Shore. I haven´t seen her in many years, but I always remember her friendly personality and her love of fun! May your family have extra peace and grace and lots of precious memories!
