I attended Baylor University in the mid-90's and had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Edens and his late wife Dee-Dee. Roger Edens' grandson and I are best friends and part of my expierence in Waco was being able to spend time with Mr. Edens as he welcomed me into his home while I was miles from my hometown in California. The Edens' family are incredible people and Roger was a perfect example of that. My and Nicki's love to Dave, Scherry, David, Julie and Erik.

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Many wonderful childhood memories from Lake Shore flood my mind as I recall Roger and Penny.

I was born and raised in Waco and graduated from Baylor University in 1968. I remember what a great guy Mr. Edens was to all of the students who stopped in the Baylor Drug Store between classes. I loved that he had "Beat Texas" in the sidewalk right at the front door to his store. He was a great part of Baylor University during my time there.

Dearest John, David, and Penny Ann,
Ralph and I are with you even though we are far away as you celebrate Dad's full and wonderful life with your mom. I'll always remember his big smile and eager acceptance of our family and his helping Colby become a Baylor bear.
We love you all, Mary Ann & Ralph
