Ronnie Griffin

Dec 6, 1949 - Oct 6, 2025

Ronnie Griffin, 75, of Lorena, TX passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 6th. Ronnie was born in Waco, TX on December 6, 1949 and lived all of his young life in Prairie Hill, TX. After graduating from Coolidge High School, he served in the US Army with an Honorable Discharge after 4 years. Ronnie always loved the agricultural lifestyle. From owning tractor & trailer dealerships and farming to later raising cows and team roping; he always felt the most comfortable in a pair of boots & jeans. He also really loved his kids and grandkids. Ronnie is survived by Shelia Reed of Lorena (his life partner of 40 years) and 3 sons: Joe Griffin of Austin, TX, Jeff Griffin of Nashville, TN, & Greg Griffin of Spring, TX. He is also survived by 4 grandkids and 3 great-grandkids. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; Harrison & Cattie Griffin and 4 brothers. A Celebration of Life will be held at the George's Banquet Hall (1609 Circle Rd Waco, TX 76706) on Friday 10/17 from 6:00-9:00 pm. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul." - Psalm 23:1-3
