Ruby Hale Obituary

Ruby Hale, 67, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Friday at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco, with Pastor Kevin Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Resthaven Cemetery in Corsicana. Ruby was born Oct. 1, 1938, in Corsicana to Willie and Louise Johnson Franks.She worked in childcare for many years, and she touched the lives of many children.We'll miss you, Maw Maw. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Loyd Lee Hale and Truman "Dusty" Day; sisters, Willie Pearl Breckenridge, Dorothy Burleson, Thelma Allen, Alpine Parrish, and by brother Willie Ed Franks. Ruby is survived by her sons, Derek Hale and wife, Mary of Robinson, and Ronnie Hale of Waco; grandchildren, Cooper Hale and Demi Hale; sisters, Gracie Grace and husband, Johnny of Corsicana, and Lenita DePriest and husband, Clyde of Tennessee; brother, James Franks and Ouida of Corsicana; and numerous nieces and nephews. October 1, 1938 - August 23, 2006

You will be greatly missed. I will never forget all the times you sat on the front porch watching Creighton ride his bicycle up and down the street with him screaming watch this Mrs. Ruby! Watch This! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time.
