Ruth, 90 years old, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024, at her home in Harris Creek, McGregor, TX.

The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd., Waco, TX 76710.

Ruth was born in Corpus Christi, TX, and grew up in Robstown, TX, where she attended high school at Robstown High School, home of the Cotton Pickers. Ruth married her high school sweetheart; Dr. John Ray Allen D.D.S. and together they had 4 daughters; Barbara, Mari, Carol, & Janeen. In 1970 the family moved to Waco, TX, from Dallas, TX. Dr. Allen then started his dental practice, and Ruth continued working for Mary Kay, which she had been with for 2 years.

Ruth was an Executive Senior Sales Director in Mary Kay Cosmetics for almost 56 years. She introduced, trained, supported and assisted thousands of Mary Kay Consultants in the United States. Canada, Mexico & Australia. Ruth always led by example. She won 21 Career Cars during her career, was a Sales Star Consultant 119 times and was in the Director $300,000 Circle of Achievement 5 times! She passes on her legacy to everyone who knew her as a successful and caring individual.

Ruth was also very active in many charities and non-profit organizations including Christian Women's Club, Waco Chamber of Commerce and First United Methodist Church of Waco. Ruth never met a stranger and always had a kind, encouraging word to say to each person she met.

As her business grew, Ruth needed a more efficient way to travel to all of her consultants. So, in the 80's she took flying lessons, became a pilot, bought an airplane, painted it pink and even had the tail number changed to MK & her unit #.

Ruth was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel White Sr.; her younger brother, Paul White; her husbands, Dr. John Ray Allen, and Alfred P. Williams; her daughter, Marianne Allen Sharp; and her grandson, James Allen Campbell.

She is survived by her brother, Lionel (Sonny) White Jr.; and her sister, LaNell Crumpler; daughters, Barbara Allinbloom, Carol Allen Campbell, Janeen Allen Long and husband, Ted Long; son-in-law, Jim Sharp; and stepsons, Keith Williams, and Kelly Williams.

Ruth is also survived by her grandchildren, Seasha Stevens, Johnny Rodriguez and wife, Tonya, Monica Luckinbill and husband, Jeremy, Adam Hamilton and wife, Stacey, Shelby Campbell, John Ray Blackwell, and Jean Blackwell; as well as her great-grandchildren, Sylvie McKay, Bryce McKay, Heather Rodriguez, John Rodriguez, Paige Luckinbill, Gaberial Luckinbill, Jackson Hamilton, Cooper Hamilton, and Bridgette Opal Campbell.
