Kenneth Regier

Kenneth Regier, age 91, formerly of Aurora, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Saunders House in Wahoo.
Ken's wishes were to be cremated. A Memorial Service will be 11 a.m., Monday, April 7th, at the Higby-McQuiston Chapel in Aurora. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, at the Mennonite Brethren Cemetery just north of Henderson. Memorials may be directed to the Berean Church. Kenneth L Regier was born on May 13, 1933, in rural Henderson to Jacob H Regier and Tena Martens Regier.
Ken attended and graduated from the Henderson Public Schools. He was married to LaVera M Epp on June 1, 1954. Ken and LaVera became members of the Mennonite Brethren Church in Henderson.
Ken farmed south of Aurora his entire work life. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He dedicated a lot of time serving on boards and committees, both in the church and in the community. Two that he spent many years on were the Aurora Cooperative Board of Directors and the Upper Big Blue NRD.
Ken enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His grandchildren cherish the close relationship they had with grandpa and grandma.
Ken was a good Christian man and a great example for his family.
Ken and LaVera loved to travel. They visited Arizona, Texas, and Alaska many times with their fifth wheel camper and many other destinations as well. They were members of a camping club for several years.
Ken was preceded in death by his wife LaVera Regier, his infant twins, Ronald and Ronelda Regier, son Todd Regier, parents, Jake and Tena Regier, brother Dale Regier, his in-laws Willard and Anna Epp, and his daughter-in-law Andrea Regier.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters Cindy Roth (Gordon Roth) and Audrey Vaught, grandchildren Jeremy (Cassie)Vaught, Whitney Wittstruck, Jake (Vanessa) Vaught. His cherished great grandchildren Camden, Vivian, and Sienna Vaught, Liam and Grace Wittstruck, Isaiah, Riley, and Theodore Vaught. He is also survived by his brother Gene (Carol) Regier and sister, Gladys Ediger, his brother-in-law Larry (Lorna) Epp and sister-in-law Jane Ross and many more family and friends.
