Larry William Ciha, born April 15, 1940 to Wesley and Lois (Longerbeam) Ciha in Solon, Iowa passed away Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025 in Brainerd.
Larry was a farmer for over 20 years in Solon, owning Ciha Farms. He married his wife, Corleen Pickering, on May 12, 1962. In 1984, they moved to Hackensack, where Larry later acted as the mayor for 25 years.
He mowed grass as a hobby.
Larry enjoyed being on the river, fishing, tubing, being on the pontoon, playing horseshoes and wildlife, especially raccoons.
Larry is survived by his wife, Corleen; sons Scott (Ruth) and Michael (Marcie); grandchildren Vanessa Huwe, Harper Ciha, Victoria Ciha and Cristina Snodgrass; and great-grandchildren Ripley Huwe and Theodore Snodgrass.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Pine River.
