Frank Tully Obituary

WALTHAM Mr. Frank E. Tully, 80, of Waltham died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, in his home. Frank worked for many years as a health inspector for the City of Waltham until his retirement in 2000. Frank was a member of the Joseph P. Hill American Legion Post # 156 in Waltham, a Past Chairman for the Board of Health in Waltham and an avid sports fan. Frank served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Frank was the husband of the late Evelyn E. (Wagner) Tully, son of the late George L. and Mary K. (McCarthy) Tully, and brother of the late George L. Tully, M.D. and John P. Tully. Frank leaves his children, Steven J. Tully and his wife, Linda, of Beaufort, S.C., Peter S. Tully of Gilbert, Ariz., Judy T. Gaudet and her husband, Stephen, of Bedford, N.H., and Paul K. Tully of Nashua, N.H.; and his grandchildren, Derek, Chantel and David Gaudet. Frank is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held today, at 10 a.m., from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main St. (Rte. 20), Waltham, followed by a funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Newton Cemetery. Visiting hours were held Monday. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2042 Beacon St., Newton MA 02468.
