Craig A. Niemeyer

1947 - 2015

Craig A. Niemeyer, 67, of Wapakoneta, died 11:59 a.m., Sun. June 28, 2015, at St. Rita's Medical Center Emergency Room, Lima, following a sudden illness. He was born Dec. 2, 1947, in Lima, the son of Reuben & Marjean (Koch) Niemeyer, who preceded him in death. On March 8, 1996, he married Lynn A. Argo, and she survives.
Other survivors include; a daughter, Tracy (Chuck) Miller, Wapakoneta; 2 step-children, Joshua Hemenway, Lima, and Alysia McKercher, Wapakoneta; 5 grandchildren, Garrett Miller, Jacob Miller, Elijah Jones, Isaiah Price, and Ian Newport; siblings, John (Jennifer) Niemeyer, Nashville, TN, Mark (Lorna) Niemeyer, Celina, OH, David (Karen) Niemeyer, Monroe, MI, Susan Niemeyer, Jeffersonville, OH.
Craig retired in April, 2014, from Plastipak, Jackson Center. He was a graduate of the Wapakoneta High School, and served as a sergeant with the U.S. Air Force in Korea. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
In accordance with Craig's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Auglaize Co. Board For Crippled Children and Adults, P.O. Box 86, Wapakoneta.
