Ella "Joy" Yoho

1921 - 2016

Ella "Joy" Yoho passed away peacefully, Feb. 5, 2016 at the age of 94 at Auglaize Acres. Joy was born April 23, 1921 to Albert and Louella (Fryer) Dardio in Auglaize County. On Sept. 8, 1979 Joy married David Yoho in Yuma, Ariz. The couple resided in Texas for many years. David ahd Joy enjoyed traveling the country, fishing and spending time with one another. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews. Joy was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, four sisters and her dear husband.
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glint in snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circles flight.
I am the soft star that that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die.
Private family services will be held at a later date where Joy and David wished to have their ashes spread together. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joy's honor to the Memory Unit at Auglaize Acres. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Auglaize Acres for their heartfelt care and compassion to Aunt Joy.
